Get Covered Today

Our community health centers help families and individuals sign up for health insurance through the Health Insurance Marketplace. Each health center has certified application counselors on staff who educate their communities about health insurance options and provide free enrollment assistance.
Our health centers have helped thousands of Montanans obtain health coverage through the Health Insurance Marketplace. The Marketplace at healthcare.gov is the new one-stop-shopping portal for health insurance coverage. The Marketplace is where you can compare private health insurance plans, apply for tax credits, and see if you are eligible for Medicaid or Healthy Montana Kids.

Plans on the Marketplace are:

  • Affordable – Most Montanans receive tax credits to help them pay for their insurance
  • High quality – All Marketplace plans cover doctor visits, emergency care, hospital stays, mental health, and prescription drugs. Each plan also provides many free preventive and screening services.
  • Open to All – Insurance companies can no longer turn anyone away, even if you have serious health conditions. They can’t exclude coverage for pre-existing conditions, charge you more based on your health, or drop you if you get sick.

If you or someone you know needs health insurance, an assister at a health center can help you review your options, walk you through the application process, and help you understand how to use your new insurance. Assistance is free and confidential.
