MPCA is a non-profit organization of health care providers focusing primarily on issues affecting Community and Migrant Health Centers, Rural Health Clinics, and Federally Qualified Health Centers. In her new role as Data and Information Manager for MPCA, Ms. Levine will manage statewide databases to help address the primary care needs of unserved/underserved Montana residents and work directly with communities seeking federal/state primary care funding. Federally Qualified Health Centers are an important part of the national health care “safety net” as they accept patients without financial or other discrimination.

Ms. Levine received a masters degree from Montana State University and bachelor’s degree from Wisconsin State University. She has provided oversight and technical assistance to communities in obtaining federal designations as medically underserved areas and health professional workforce recruitment. She will be the assisting the MPCA in updating its health center growth and resource plan and statewide strategic priorities.

“It is great to have Marge onboard,” says MPCA Executive Director Alan Strange, “we worked closely in the past on access issues for primary care - but now, she is just right down the hall.” Ms. Levine can be reached at the Montana Primary Care Association, 900 N. Montana, Suite B3, Helena, MT 59601, 406-442-2750 or mlevine@mtpca.org.
