Meet Our New Staff Member at MPCA!

Jenifer Sheehy, MSN, FNP.

Jenifer Sheehy has joined the staff of MPCA as our Network Coordinator. A Montana native, Jenifer earned her Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing at MSU and later earned her Masters Degree in Nursing and became a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) at the University of California San Francisco/San Diego. She has 19 years of diverse nursing experience in urban and rural hospitals, including home health and pediatric practice, and 8 years of primary care FNP experience in California, Alaska, and Oregon.

Jenifer will be assisting the medical directors of Montana's Community Health Centers to develop a clinical network through which they will share information, data, policies, and best practices. Jenifer will collect and distribute information regarding national and state disease-specific collaborative activities and develop practice management protocols. In addition, Jenifer will assist clinicians that staff Montana Homeless Program sites to work together to improve primary care services to this vulnerable population.

"This is a unique opportunity," says Jenifer, "where I can blend my past clinical experience with a new administrative role and contribute to primary care in Montana."

Jenifer can be reached at 406-442-2750 or at jsheehy@mtpca.org.
