Through a Health Center Controlled Network grant from the Bureau of Primary Care, MPCA is working with its members to develop and implement an aggregation and analytics system to drive quality improvement across the health center organizations in Montana. MPCA is facilitating discussions across the network focusing on the establishment of data governance policies and procedures, technology investment, and sharing of best practices. The goal is to support CHCs in achieving the Triple Aim by using the data to improve health outcomes, improve the patient’s experience, and control the cost of healthcare.

Meaningful Use

The Medicare and Medicaid EHR Incentive Programs are national programs providing incentive payments for certain health care providers to adopt ad use EHR technology in ways that can positively affect patient care (i.e. Meaningful Use). The Medicare EHR Incentive Program is run by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) whereas the Medicaid EHR Incentive Program is run by the State. MPCA assists its members in navigating the process of attesting for Meaningful Use in collaboration with several state-wide partners.
