All Sessions (unless otherwise noted) will be 60 minutes in length.

Selection Criteria

More proposals are received than can be selected. A committee of volunteers with expertise in each particular field will evaluate all proposals on key elements including: content relevance, application to the learner's job, delivery methods, balance of the speaker/topic with other contracted speakers, cost of honorarium and travel expenses.

Content Requirements

-All sessions are learning experiences and non-commercial

-The session description should be clearly detailed

-The session should include interactive or experiential elements, as appropriate

-Learning objectives should show practical application

-Individual and Lead Speakers will be asked to enter a title, description, learning objectives, and delivery methods

-Individual and Lead Speakers will also choose a target audience

-If your proposal has more than one speaker, only one submission needs to be made

MPCA does not guarentee that this or any other submission proposal will be selected as part of the agenda for the 2026 Addiction Medicine and Pain Conference. You will recieve and email verifying that your proposal has been recieved and is under consideration by the event committee. MPCA will contact you should the proposal be accepted or declined. If selected, there will be a contracting process to finalize an agreement.

Your presentation should not be used as an avenue for the direct promotion of a product, service, or monetary self-interest.
