Primary Care Providers have been a leader in addressing the opioid epidemic and are a key component in ending the death and suffering from this national scourge. Nevertheless, in 2024, the opioid epidemic, along with other substance misuse and abuse, continues. However, we cannot respond to this national plague in the exact same way as we did earlier in the epidemic. The drugs and environment continue to change.
Grab your lunch and join us for this up-to-date new webinar series, “A Primary Care Approach to Treating Substance Use Disorder,” every other Wednesday starting at 12:10 PM. Various in-state experts will cover a range of topics. Each session will include a short presentation lasting 30 to 35 minutes, followed by a fifteen minute for Q&A.
