This webinar’s participants will learn:
1. What FHIR is and why it is the industry standard for secure, API-based health data exchange.
2. eCW’s FHIR capabilities, including SMART on FHIR and backend service integrations.
3. How FHIR is enabled in eCW at a high level, including application registration, permissions, and governance considerations.
4. The three primary FHIR application models used by health centers: patient-centric apps (patient access and engagement), provider-centric apps (clinical and workflow support), and back-end service apps (data aggregation, population health, and HCCN reporting).
5. How FHIR APIs may support HCCN data aggregation and HRSA/UDS reporting workflows.
The webinar will also help health centers and HCCNs confirm which FHIR application types are already active and identify next steps for optimizing interoperability and reporting.
